Rakuten retailer has published information regarding the recently announced DOGS / BULLETS & CARNAGE anime. It will be made into a two-volume OAD series. Customers are able to pre-order the limited edition DOGS / BULLETS & CARNAGE manga vol.4 which will bundle the first DVD. It will contain chapters of Mihai and Bado. Release date is set to May 19. The renewed version of the original Dogs: Stray dog howling in the dark manga, released in December of 2001, will bundle the second DVD. It will contain chapters of Naoto and Haine. Release date is set to July 17. Both DVDs will contain 30 minutes of footage. Anime will retain the cast used for the drama CD version. Price: 3880円 each.

Biweekly Kiss magazine will announce tomorrow that Nodame Cantabile will be getting two theatrical anime releases right after the already announced third TV anime season. The first one will be released at the beginning of 2010, and the second one in the following Spring. EDIT: MOON PHASE later edited his information, stating the works will be live-action theatrical features. Apologies.

Animage has announced that Nodame Cantabile will be getting its third anime season. Broadcasts are slated for Fuji TV’s Noitamina program block in Fall 2009.

Kurogane no Linebarrels DVD vol.1 will contain an application for receiving a special animated episode. Instructions for submitting the application will be bundled with DVD vol.9. Vol.1 release date is set to December 24. Price: 3990円.

The official website for Fullmetal Alchemist’s new TV anime series has opened and thus confirmed months of unconfirmed reports and rumors. It’s also streaming a short promotional video which sets the series’ broadcast start to April 2009.

The official website for Kiniro no Corda has confirmed loose information regarding a possible new anime. Tentatively titled Kiniro no Corda -secondo passo-, the anime will serve as a Spring TV special, employing an additional set of new characters.

NewType has announced that Kawamori Shouji’s recently launched project BASQUASH! will be made into an original TV anime. Directing by Itagaki Shin, script composition by Satou Tatsuo, character design by Yoshimatsu Takahiro, SUEZEN, and Soeta Kazuhiro, mecha/art design by Thomas Romain, animation production by Satelight. Broadcast is slated for 2009.
