Weekly Shounen Champion has announced that Saint Seiya: THE LOST CANVAS Meiou Shinwa, originally a shounen manga by Teshirogi Shiori, will be getting an OVA in Spring 2009. Details unknown.

NHK Anime World has announced that Hana Sakeru Seishounen, originally a shoujo manga by Itsuki Natsumi, will be getting a TV anime starting in April 2009. EDIT: Itsuki Natsumi has clarified that it’s going to be 3 cours long and produced by Pierrot.

Animate.tv reports from Aquaplus Festa 2008 that the announced ToHeart2 adplus OVA will be released on April 24. ToHeart2 PORTABLE PSP transplant has also been announced.

Information reported from Aquaplus Live Festa 2008: The Utawarerumono OVA will have 3 volumes total. Vol.1 prices: 7980円 for limited, 6300円 for regular edition DVD, 7980円 for BD. Release is slated for Spring 2009. Reporters have assumed June 5 to be the final release date. DVD and BD will supposedly be released simultaneously. Utawarerumono PSP transplant has also been announced.

「Katanagatari」 anime announcement

Kodansha Box’s Maniwagatari release will announce on December 1 that Katanagatari, originally a light novel series written by Nishio Ishin and illustrated by Take, will be getting an anime adaptation. It will follow after Bakemonogatari TV anime that’s slated for broadcast in 2009. Details unknown.

「xxxHOLiC」 vol.15, 「Tsubasa」 vol.27 OAD announcement

Limited edition versions of xxxHOLiC’s 15th and Tsubasa’s 27th manga volumes will bundle their own OAD works. OAD bundles have already been announced for xxxHOLiC’s 14th and Tsubasa’s 26th manga volumes. Customers ordering a set of all mentioned four volumes will receive an original drama CD tentatively titled Horitsuba Gakuen as a gift. Reservation deadline for xxxHOLiC vol.15 limited edition is set to March 23, release date is set to May 15. Price: 3700円. No dates announced for Tsubasa vol.27.
