About

Mission
My blog is designed to be a clear-cut provider of important news shorts about anime and other otaku affairs. I’ve been writing notes instead of fully developed news entries for a number of months now because they take less time and they’re more to-the-point. I figured I can share these notes with other blogs and news sites that are sick of writing lengthy news entries just to keep a part of their readership happy. Integrating my entries on your blog via RSS will save you a lot of time and let you concentrate on things that matter to you, things you like writing about. No links, no credit required!

Goals
I’m trying to develop a simple way for integrating my notes to other websites via JavaScript. There are some applications that do this, but their features are limited to basic RSS/Atom parsing. I want to create a script that would function like KB Advanced RSS Widget, which is what I recommend for WordPress blogs. A website parsing my notes would preferably look something like this (look at the sidebar). The point is to parse the original HTML (links, text style), without posts’ titles.

If you need help with the setup, you can contact me on IRC. Channel is #denpa @ synIRC (irc.synirc.net). I am idling there primarily under Anya. You can also email me.

Sources
Most of my news entries are based on reports from MOON PHASE. I also follow a few select RSS sources. I’m trying to keep the list small, because I’m not doing this for a living. If you’re hiring anime journalists, I might be interested (笑).
Last but not least, I want to apologize to bloggers who feel that their news posts should have got linked or mentioned in my entries. I always link original news sources, but I hold back when it comes to middlemen. I do not claim credit for any content posted on this site, I merely want to present my entries in minimalist fashion.
